HMV's Fopp takeover

The Fopp brand has been bought by HMV.

The music retailer has exchanged conditional contracts on six Fopp stores with the company's administrator Ernst & Young.

The takeover should save some of the 700 jobs lost when Fopp went into administration earlier this year.
