Insurance risk for Digital music
Most insurance policies fail to cover the loss of digital music according to new research by Computing Which? magazine.
The report showed that only 22 out of 46 insurance companies surveyed offered any cover to protect the loss of digital music files.
The report indicates that people who store music on MP3 players such as iPods risk loosing their entire music collection if their devices fail, unless the tracks are saved on other formats.
