The Proms 2007

The Proms is set to start its eight-week summer season of classical music this Friday at the Royal Albert Hall.

The season will run from 13 July to 8 September 2007 and Michael Ball will be one of the programme's headline performers.

The Proms was founded in 1895 and each season offers over 70 concerts making it the biggest classical music festival in the world.
