Taste of London Festival
The Performing Right Society sponsored the Music Stage at the Taste of London culinary festival which took place 21 – 24 June in Regents Park.
London’s top restaurants and celebrity chefs converged on Regent’s Park to give members of the public a taste of their talents at this year’s Taste of London festival.
PRS took this opportunity to draw attention to the relationship between music and food, reflecting how copyright music can be used to enhance the style and atmosphere of a restaurant.
Taste Festivals are the most exciting food and drink events of the year. If you love food, then Taste Festivals are the perfect occasion to sample dishes from the UK’s top restaurants, freshly prepared by world-famous chefs.
The next Taste Festival will take place in Birmingham, 5-8 July –Cannon Hill Park.
Throughout the four days of the event, the PRS Music Stage played host to a variety of bands, who bravely played through all kinds of weather, offering the public a selection of jazz, classical, soul, blues, “sunshine music”, and a comic twist on karaoke.
Taste of London gave the Performing Right Society an opportunity to illustrate to the restaurant market what we are truly about: enabling the public use of music.
