Muse2008 brings another successful V Festival weekend for PRS members

Reformed 90s rock legends The Verve rounded off the weekend at the Chelmsford site of this year’s V Festival on Sunday, dispelling rumours of a rift between band members, whilst Muse headlined at the Staffordshire site and performed a spectacular show complete with lasers, satellite dishes and flame-throwers.

Over 160,000 festival goers were in attendance at the two events. Those enjoying the music at Hylands Park, Chelmsford were lucky enough to be blessed with sunshine and clear skies, but over at Weston Park, just outside Birmingham, music fans were forced to contend with more challenging conditions including heavy rain and of course mud.

Other appearances from PRS members at the festival came from Amy Winehouse, Ian Brown, Stereophonics, Chemical Brothers, Hot Chip, The Kooks, Maximo Park and Squeeze.
