Acts announced for Olympic party

A number of acts have been announced for a huge public concert to celebrate the moment when London becomes the official Olympic city.

The event will take place in The Mall in the heart of London on 24 August 2008 at the same time as the closing ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Games.

40,000 fans will see a line-up which features Will Young, James Morrisson, The Feeling, McFly and Scouting For Girls amongst others.
