First ever Beatles contract to go under hammer
The first ever contract between The Beatles and their manager Brian Epstein is to be sold at auction.
The document, dated 24 January 1962, is signed by Epstein and all members of the Fab Four including Paul McCartney and George Harrison's fathers, their sons being under the age of 21 at the time.
The contract is expected to fetch up to £250,000 at the September 2008 auction held at London's Idea Generation Gallery.
