Callaghan to self-release upcoming single
Georgina Callaghan is launching a campaign to be the first ever artist to break into the UK top 40 singles chart without the assistance of a manager or a record label.
The 25-year-old singer-songwriter will be releasing Look Around on download on 26 October and believes that if 2,500 UK fans purchase the single she has a chance of making it into the top 40 the following Sunday.
Callaghan hopes to show that, with the dawn of downloads, artists can take their music directly to the listening public.
Look Around is available for pre-order at Callaghan's indiestore page and all proceeds will go to the Live Music Now charity.
