Mid-year charts revealed
The Official UK Charts Company has released sales figures for the first half of 2008, with Duffy coming out on top in both singles and album sales.
The Welsh star's Rockferry was the top album ahead of Coldplay's Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends at number two - a staggering result for the band given that their latest album has been on general release for just four weeks.
Duffy's hit single Mercy outsold releases from Estelle, Madonna and Justin Timberlake, Adele and Rihanna amongst others to be crowned the best-selling single of the year so far.
