McCartney plays free Quebec show
Paul McCartney played a free gig in Quebec, Canada on 20 July 2008 at an event celebrating the Quebec province's 400th anniversary.
McCartney reeled off a number of hits and occasionally spoke in French to an 200,000-strong, largely francophone crowd, who rewarded his bilingual efforts with rapturous applause.
