Q award nominees annouced
The nominations for the 2008 Q awards have been revealed with Coldplay heading the list of nominees.
The band are up for four awards including Best Album and Best Act In The World today.
Other acts also in line for success include the Ting Tings with three nods, including best video, and The Last Shadow Puppets who are nominated for two awards.
The annual award ceremony will take place on 6 October 2008 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane.
