Ting Tings nominated for MTV video of the year
The Tings Tings have received their second nomination for the MTV Music Video Awards. The popular twosome are up for Video of the Year with their hit song Shut Up and Let Me Go. The entry sees competition from Britney Spears’ Piece of Me and the Pussycat Dolls’ When I Grow Up.
The band has already been nominated for a special Best UK Video category, where contenders include the likes of Duffy, Estelle and Coldplay.
The MTV Music Video Awards are due to take place at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on 7 September.
