The Fontanas
Siblings without rivalry, The Fontanas are the musical brotherhood of producers Sam Sutton and Simon Ashbrook. This unlikely international production duo first met by chance in 2004 on the express train to Barcelona Airport, when Simon commented on Sam´s somewhat dated electric guitar (a Mustang). Two years and one album later, they have worked slavishly across the ether between London and Barcelona, creating a body of work that most artists would find hard to achieve in two lifetimes.
Masters of fusion, their music is a case study in musical progression, with a catalogue of currently unreleased tracks ranging from downbeat back foot latin grooves and ambient trip hop to funk-fuelled house anthems that blow the doors off.
Their featured track is Le Skank (on the Haunted Hill)
