Every month we will be creating a podcast featuring members that we think you'll be hearing more about.
This month we are featuring Patrick Briscoe, Hayashi, Kelly Elliott and Daniel Orlick.
What's this?|
Patrick Briscoe
Our first act this month is Manchester singer-songwriter Patrick Briscoe. Patrick is about to release his second full length album, Colours Will Fly. Patrick's virtuoso guitar playing provides a perfect accompaniment to his voice, and his songs are dreamlike and intimate.
Call it folk music, call it acoustic music; whatever you call it, it’s beautiful.
His track for our podcast is Scars and Mountains.

New PRS members Hayashi have taken the studio-based sound of breakbeat into the live arena, using real musicians to perform material more usually produced using computers and drum loops.
Gigging regularly in and around their home town of Leeds, they have developed a substantial following in the drum and bass and breakbeat clubs.
Have a listen to their track Shopfloor Tigertrap.

Our third artist on this months podcast is Kel Elliott, a singer-songwriter with the unusual distinction of being a double-bass player. Kel’s songs are upbeat in every sense – lyrically optimistic and musically infectious.
Stylistically, the sound is richly produced bluesy café jazz, inviting favourable comparison with global superstars Madeleine Peyroux and Norah Jones.
Her track for this PRS podcast is Valentine’s Day.

Daniel Orlick
Our final featured artist on this month’s PRS podcast is Daniel Orlick. Melding social commentary with twangy guitars and reggae bass lines, Daniel’s music appeals to the head as well as the feet. He’s currently recording his debut album for Ghost Town Records.
Daniel's track is Devil’s Seed.
