You can obtain a product clearance electronically for each DVD1 product you intend to manufacture and ship by contacting us at ap.info@mcps.co.uk or on 020 8378 7500.
If you are unable to use this method then please use the notification of intended release.
Category A (DVD singles) - 8.5% of Published Dealer Price, or 6.5% of Retail Price
Category B (Hybrid DVDs) - 7.25% of Published Dealer Price, or 5.54% of Retail Price
Category C (DVD-Video albums) - 6.25% of Published Dealer Price, or 4.78 of Retail Price
Where hybrids are generally mixed CD and DVD packages or similarly Dualdiscs.
Submit forms to MCPS ---> MCPS process forms ---> Clearance granted
Feature films, television productions, games, branding and sponsorship (incl. web-links) and DVDs containing over 200 minutes of music.
To qualify the DVD may contain one or more of the following and contain a minimum of 30% music content relative to the total running time:
- Audio-visual tracks and audio-only tracks
- Music accompanying still photo galleries, band related visual text, interviews and related video footage.
- Live performance footage.
- Music videos.
