Production Music in Radio Adverts
The MCPS BR3 Agreement gives radio stations unlimited access to MCPS members’ Production Music for use in radio advertisements, in return for an annual licence fee.
What rights are covered under the scheme?
The right to copy MCPS Production Music into audio advertising.
Please note, a separate PRS Radio Licence is required to cover the broadcast of any musical works in advertisements or programming.
How do you apply for this agreement?
To apply for a BR3 licence you must complete a copy of the application form and return it to us at: Radio Licensing, 29-33 Berners Street, London, W1T 3AB.
If you are outsourcing the production of the adverts you must also complete a Notification of Producer form.
